Friday, December 24, 2004 11:34 PM Yea, today went to watch national treasure with xinyu and shumin. Hmm, i think the movie was great, at first thought the movie will be some boring lao kok kok history show, but it turned out to be great. The show mainly revolves around the history of us. based on the invisible map hidden behind the declaration of indepedence, 2 person by the name of ben gates(nicholas cage) and riley (justin bartha) went to some of the us's most famous monuments like national archives and liberty hall to search for more clues in an attempt to find the hidden treasure. i like riley, haha.. think he's damn funny and witty and smart. lolz, just now went to search for his real name out of curiosity, think he's quite good-looking. wahaha.. yea, the movie's quite entertaining and thrilling. but at times some of the clues are kinda chim, that's because im not very sure of the us's history. leads back to famous scientist benjamin franklin, the clock tower and the broken pyramid found on the us one dollar note. in the movie, riley made use of the concept of daylight saving to determine the actual time on the clock tower and i think it's quite interesting, though me and xy were a bit blur lar. no wonder the time diff btw countries during summer and winter is shorter for summertime. but since sm studied in the us before, she explained this daylight saving thing to us. but its still kinda luan4, haha. the movie's worth watching, i didnt regret watching it.

After the show has ended we went to walk around orchard, today's xmas eve and orchard was damn crowded. cant even find a place in the foodcourt at taka, we ended up da bao food to sit on the steps to eat. we just crap around, sm just came back from aus, quite envious of her cos she's like forever huai2 you2 shi4 jie4, went to so many countries to study, she said she might be going cambridge to study law, pro sia.. now she's back in s'pore, most prob we can go out again next week, cos today only we 3 ppl, rw and yc didnt come.. hopefully all of us can make it..
